I’m a reporter covering Congress for CQ Roll Call, in Washington, D.C.
As the Capitol campus reporter for CQ Roll Call my beat includes the Senate Rules and Adminstration Committee, House Rules and House Administration committees. I also cover Legislative Branch agencies like the Architect of the Capitol and the Capitol Police and Legislative Branch appropriations.
Prior to reporting on the hill I covered insurance for a little over a year for CQ Roll Call. Before that, I worked for six years in local news in Connecticut. I’ve covered politics, education, housing and urban development, crime, immigration and arts and culture both locally and statewide.
My work has been published in newspapers and magazines throughout Connecticut and has earned me eight Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists awards in recent years.
